The WWE NXT Haul event is set to take place next month at the Madison Square Garden Theater. This special episode of NXT has already confirmed several matches, including a high-stakes double championship bout. The match will feature Giulia facing Stephanie Vaquer, with both the NXT Women’s Championship and the North American Women’s Championship on the line.
Reason Behind the Match Booking Revealed
Fans were left shocked when the outcome of the match was decided in advance. According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer (via Wrestletalk), one of the champions is injured and needs time off to recover. This forced the company to script the match to write the injured champion off television temporarily. Alvarez stated:
“Without spoiling it, because if I spoil it, I spoil the match, one of these women is banged up and needs time off. So they do a match and then take time off. That’s what happened.”
While Alvarez did not reveal the match’s result, a separate report from PW Insider suggests that Giulia is the injured champion.
