Season 1 from GMR Rugby Premier League is ready to start because match 1 is up to us. The first franchise Rugby Sevens League in the world, organized by Rugby India and GMR Sports, will host The Who’s from the rugby world in Mumbai and capture the imagination of fans.
The fight with the highest honors is six franchises: Bengaluru Bravehearts, Chennai Bulls, Delhi Redz, Hyderabad Heroes, Kalinga Black Tigers and Mumbai Dreamers. The RPL will present 30 Marquee International players from Powerhouse Rugby Sevens Nations, including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Fiji, Argentina, Great Britain, Ireland, USA and Spain. The tournament will also include 18 international players from Canada, Hong Kong and Germany, which will improve the competitive depth of the league.
Last but not least, the GMR RPL will also see 30 Indian players selected from the 71 Auction Fund, which participates in addition to international legends.

What is the composition of the group?
Each group will have 13 players, with two Indians must always be on the playground during the game. There will be seven players at any given moment. Seven is then divided into three forwards and four backs.
The initial seven players in GMR RPL will present two international players, two international bridge players + two Indian players + 1 coaches selection.
What is the match format?
Each game will be played in four neighborhoods, each with four minutes, with a break between each phase. It is not expected that the total duration of time for one match exceeds 22 minutes.

Where will GMR RPL play?
The 1 GMR Rugby Premier League season starts on June 15 with the final plan on June 29 in Mumbai in the sports complex Shahaji Raje Bhosale.
