The opposition parties sharply criticized Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) General Secretary of Datatrey Hosabale’s comment that the words “secular” and “socialist” in the preambuli should be reviewed, and on Friday (June 27, 2025).

The Secretary General of the Congress (Organization) KC Venugopal, in post X, said, “The one -time focus of the RSS on the destruction of the Constitution has never been hidden for too long.”
“In addition to the lips of the BJP of the Constitution, their hidden agenda has always been distorted and destroyed by our constitution-on the main fascist beliefs of RSS-BJP. Senior RSS certainly knows that the Supreme Court declared socialism and secularism to be part of the basic structure of the constitution,” Venugopal said.
‘Read the SC’ order ‘
The head of the Congress Communication Jairam Ramesh added in Post X: “RSS never received the Indian Institute. He attacked Dr. Ambedkar, Nezru and others involved in his framing since November 30, 1949.

CPI (m) stated that the Indian Constitution embodies the ambitions of countless freedom fighters, the “inclusion of” socialism “and” secularistics “in the preamble is not arbitrary; It reflects the basic values for which freedom fighters as Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh and its shocks stood and sacrificed their lives. ”

“Secularism is the cornerstone of the pluralistic and inclusive civilization in India. It ensures the same respect and freedom for all religions and is the basis of our national unity. Any attempt to dilute secularism is an attempt to communize politics and pushing the nation to dangerous theocratic trajectory, which is largely a foreigner.
