
Staff Special Force Special Force (RPSF) from UJJAIN in Madhya Pradesh will support the power of RPF protection (RPF) in Tiruchi Railway Division in fulfillment of security duties.
With a total of 56 employees connected to the 15th Battalion of the RPSF, which landed here on Saturday, was accommodated in the RPF Zonal Training Center in Khajamalai, Tiruch. Movement to send a dose of 80 RPSF staff from Ujjain under the western railway zone to the Tiruchi division came as a result of the application of RPF authorities, which was adopted by the Railway Council.
Rail sources said the RPSF staff with weapons would be deployed for tasks that include providing accompaniment on board express trains as they pass through the boundaries of Tiruchi Railway to ensure the safety and security of passengers. Several express trains in the north-south direction and to the east-west-west in Tamil Nadu go through the jurisdiction of Turuchi every day.
Sources stated that the RPSF staff would be deployed to secure the platform at selected stations and monitoring of railway assets. This step is aimed at checking crimes inside the trains and platforms that include theft of passengers that have been reported at different intervals.
