A 23-year-old loudmouth, Syed Salman, was sent to jail for breaching a good behavior bond imposed by a special executive judge after he was found to have continued to engage in criminal activity despite being under a one-year remand order.
Syed Salman, a resident of Aliabad Market, had earlier posted a bond of ₹1 lakh as surety under Section 126 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to maintain good behavior for one year. However, police found he had breached the terms by getting involved in two new criminal cases.
Based on the report submitted by the police, the Special Executive Magistrate, Hyderabad District, after a proper investigation, ruled that Salman had violated the bond and ordered his imprisonment for three months on October 27. Since then he has been lodged in Chanchalguda Jail.
The operation was conducted by Chatrinaka police personnel under the supervision of Inspector KN Prasad Varma. DCP (South Zone) Sneha Mehra lauded the team’s efforts and warned that anyone who violates the court-imposed remand or continues to engage in criminal behavior will face strict legal consequences, including forfeiture of bond and imprisonment.
She added that surveillance of noisy and habitual offenders remains strict to maintain peace and public safety within the southern zone limits.
