On Saturday, Congress filed a complaint with the police against the President of the Palakkad BJP district on his allegedly threatening remarks about MLA Rahul Mamkootathil before the day.
The alleged threats of the district President BJP Prasanth Sivan lost as a result of the naming skills development center for people after the disabled after Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh founder KB Hedgewar. Congress activists, youth congress and democratic youth federation (Dyfi) on Friday disrupted the ceremony of laying the cornerstone of the center organized by Palakkad with BJP.
After disruption, Mr. Sivan said on the same day that Palakkad had mamkootathil would not be allowed to get up in the district. It is against this note that Congress filed a complaint to the police, the party’s source said.
Momkootathil answered on Saturday’s questions about reporters about the remarks of the BJP leader and said, if he had his legs, he would stand firmly to speak against the RSS.
“If they cut off my legs, I will use my remaining body to speak against the RSS. To prevent me from talking, they will have to cut off my tongue. Even then I will work against the RSS. So they are not afraid that I have not lost such a threat. He said.
On Friday, the BJP marched to the District Office of the Great Old Party, who shouted the slogans in favor of Hedgeware. On the same day, Mr. Mamkootathil led a protest against the name of the Skills Development Center after hedgeware and also noted that Congress would perform strong agitations against the initiative. He argued that no proposal was submitted to the city council to name the Hedgeware project and stated that there would also be a legal sanction against it.
