Rotary Club donates HBOT Chamber to Omandurar Government Hospital

The Rotary Club of Madras handed over a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chamber to the Omandurar Government Multi Super Specialty Hospital on Thursday. HBOT was acquired with support from the Timken Foundation of Canton. The report says the device will help improve the treatment of patients suffering from conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers, chronic non-healing wounds, burns, radiation injuries and carbon monoxide poisoning. Sanjay Koul, Chairman and Managing Director, Timken India Ltd.; Ravi S., District Governor Candidate, Rotary International District 3234; and Rotary Club of Madras president S. Balakrishnan and former president Nikhil Raj were present, a press release said.
