The Rotary Club of Tiruchi Kings donated books and teaching materials worth 30,000 GBP at the University College of Engineering, Anna University (UCE-a) on Thursday to help aspiring students from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds preparing to examine the NAD for public service.
The press release stated that Rotarian Krishnamoorthy introduced the study material on behalf of the club Dean T. Senthil Kumar. Higher officials of the university and Rotary bearers participated in the handover.
