Political parties on Earth in Bihar claimed that when one is unable to find his name in blinds, people are close to the registration officials and are ordered to fill in form 6.
Ten days after the publication of election roles in Bihar, almost 64,000 applications were submitted on Tuesday (August 12, 2025).
However, it is not clear that out of the total number of 63 571 applications for Form 6, there is no information on how many voters who have reached 18 years and how many voters who did not fulfill the list for their appointment, which are not included in the proposals published on August 1.
Form 6 is an application to include names in election roles. According to Rule 13 (a). A) Registration of the 1961 voter voters in the “Claim and Objections Form”: “Every claim must be in Form 6 and signed by a person who wants his name to be included in the role”. It is precisely this form of new voters who turned 18 years or above the use for registration in election roles.
Political parties on Earth in Bihar claimed that when he is unable to find his name in the role proposal, people are close to the registration officials and are ordered to fill in form 6, which means that if a person chooses for decades but their name is excluded from the list of proposals, then fill in form 6 AfResh. And when new election roles are published, their name will be published in the new voter column. It will therefore be almost impossible to find out how many new voters have been added to the election role and how many of them were old voters.
According to the former election committee of Ashok Lavasa, this situation “may be because the performance of a special intensive revision in Bihar is considered to be the preparation of the election roles of the de Novo and names that are not in the role proposal, do not go as a case of deletion, but rather as a case for inclusion application”.
“In the usual process of revision of the role, a notification of a person whose name is deleted, which ECI does not consider here to be necessary according to their court declaration. Only after the final election role is discussed that DeOS would consider appeal against Eros and their decisions.
On Tuesday (August 12, 2025), the Supreme Court heard a dose of petitions that question Bihar Sir.
In the previous hearing, the bench of judges Surya Kant and Joymalya Bagchi warned that the court would “not hesitate to act” if the revised list reflects “bulk exclusion”. The petitioners criticized the Sir process as a form of “citizenship screening”.
The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), which challenged the EC 24th June command, which directed Sir, moved a new application to seek instructions for the poll panel last week to publish the names of about 65 removal voters, along with the reasons for erase.
ES replied that while the list of deleted voters was provided to political parties on Earth, he was not obliged to provide a segregated list that determines the reasons for each erase. He also stated that no names would be deleted from the list of proposals without entering the reasons for removal.
According to the EC data published on Tuesday, 63,571 applications were received from the new voters, together with the declaration of 18 years or higher, while the claims and objections received directly from the voters in terms of the proposals for the inclusion of eligible voters and the exclusion of unfit voters.
