Rohit Sharma is unlikely to lead India in a very expected series of five tests in England, starting with June 20. The series for the series is expected to be announced in two weeks, while selectors are considering the opportunity to appoint a new captain at the beginning of the World Test Championship.
Resources today said India that selectors want to pass the captain the test to someone else within the settings. It remains to be seen whether Rohit will be selected for a series in England, due to its modest form in the longest format during the 2024-25 season.
