BJP raised a “serious problem” that those who were called the socialists in Bihar were actually “naswadis” and that “these people do not accept or respect the Babasaheb of the Ambedkar Institute,” said Gaurav Bhatia, National spokesman for BJP.
Bharatiya Janata (BJP) on Tuesday (1 July 2025) was killed by Rashtriya Janata’s leader Dal (RJD) Tejashwi Yadav and his political allies for their “against Babasaheb Ambedkar and unconstitutional thinking”.
At the BJP press conference, the national spokesman Gaurav Bhatia said that the priority of the RJD, Congress and their allies was “implementing provisions such as Sharia, Polygamy and Halala, and only one religion”.
“The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is carried out by politicians and schemes Jan Kalyan and Vikit Bharat along with the authorization of Dalits, back grades, women and youth, while Tejashwi Yadav is neglected,” he said.
Mr. Bhatia said that BJP raised a “serious problem” that those who were called the socialists in Bihar were actually “naswadis”. “These people do not accept or respect the Babasaheba Ambedkara constitution … Whenever they talk about Sharia, BJP will respond by standing firmly with the constitution,” he said.
He said Mr. Yadava’s note on the “throwing of the WAQF law” to the garbage is unfortunate and asked him to clarify whether any state government could cancel the central law approved by the parliament. “This matter is currently waiting before the Supreme Court and a temporary order has been reserved. So how can Tejashwi Yadav declare the Unconstitutional law? Isn’t it a contempt? You Yadav,” Mr. Bhatia said.

He said that people from Bihar and the whole country will ensure that those who have offended the constitution are “thrown into the garbage bin of municipal politics”. The BJP leader said that during the elections of Lok Sabha in 2024, all parties in the Congress Alliance of Manifest adopted that “he clearly stated that personal laws and sharia would be introduced and will be provided on religion”, which was “completely unconstitutional”.
Mr. Bhatia said that BJP and the National Democratic Alliance would “not allow such poisonous ideologies,” he said, “If Tejashwi Yadav really wants to listen to the public, he should first remember what his father, Lalu Prasad, said in parliament, said in parliament on May 7, 2010.
