The traditional ceremony lifting the flag (Parcham Kushai) marked the beginning of 621. UR-E-SHAREEF HAZRAT SYED KHWAJA BANDE Nawaz Dargah in historical eleven steps (Gyarah Seedhi) on Saturday at the Dargah-E-Shareef entrance.
The ceremony was made by Sajjad Nasheen of Dargah Hazrat Syed Muhammad Ali al-Hussaini, who performed a ritual in traditional Khwajgan (Saints).
Special prayers (Fateha) were distributed among the devotees and the sacred offers were divided.
After lifting the flag, Sajjad Nasheen provided his service on the blessed tomb (Gumbad Mubarak) Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz, where other prayers were offered and distributed Tabarruat.
Family members of Sajjad Nasheen, including his older son Gazrat Syed Muhammad Syed Hussaini and younger son Hazrat Syed Alam Hussaini, his brother Dr. Syed Mustafa Hussaini and others were present.
Rituals
On Tuesday, the Khidmat-i-Farrashi celebrations will begin and the group Sam in Dargah Shareef in the morning, followed by the Namaaz-E-Zuhr in the afternoon and evening, followed by the Lad-E-Maghribus and Namaaz-E-Isha.
Sandal parade
On Wednesday, the Khidmat-i-Farrashi rituals and the band will continue with the historic Dargah-E-Shareef.
In the evening, the parade bearing sandal paste from the Mehboob GulShan garden will start and reaches Dargah.
On Wednesday and Thursday on Wednesday and Thursday, sandal paste will be anointed on the Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz, which means the beginning of the famous UR-E-Shareef.
