India Wicketkeeper-BATER RISHABH PANT seems restless to return to the cricket field. Pant recovered from the fracture of the tip that was maintained during the fourth test against England in Manchester, Manchester, and shared a picture of his bandaged leg on Instagram with the headline: “How many days?” – A clear sign of his eagerness to return.
The 27 -year -old man raised his injury and tried to sweep Chris Woakes. He bounced the ball from the bat and hit his right leg and left him in a visible discomfort. Medical scanning later confirmed the metatarsal fracture, excluded it from the rest of the test series and placed it on a six -week recovery timeline.
Pant’s absence means that he will miss the Asia Cup 2025, starting on 9 September in the United Arab Emirates, where India is in the group phase to face Oman, Sae and Pakistan. His participation in the subsequent series of domestic tests against West India, starting on October 2, also remains uncertain.
Even when the injury is released, the hinge managed to remain positive. He recently posted a fun video that he was making pizzas at home and joking about his unexpected new hobby: “Ghar pe Kuchea na nai hai, Yaha Pizza Ban Raha Hai” (“I did not cook anything at home and here I do pizza”).
He also previously shared his way of recovering on social mediawith the same frustration.
He even laughed in the middle of the video and added, “This is the only thing I can do with a broken leg now. Mother must think – Ghar PE to KUKaya nai hai, Yaha pizza bana raha hai.”
Although the doctors have confirmed that surgery is not necessary, its recovery and match fitness will continue to be evaluated in the coming weeks when India is preparing for a wrapped schedule. For the time being, fans – just like the pants themselves – will have to wait for them to see him back in action.
