With the IPL Super Giants’s Super Giants, which ended, the newly named Vice President Rishabh Pant said on Tuesday that he wanted to “turn off” from cricket for several days before turning to the upcoming Tour after England.
Pant was in his destructive best in the last league match of the season and broke 118 out of 61 balls to lift LSG to 227 for three against Royal Challengers Bengalur. RCB, however, haunted this in a dramatic way, driven Blister Jitesh Sharma 85 out of 33 balls and Mayank Agarwal’s 41 OFF only 23. The couple added for the fifth goal of the undefeated 107, took Bengaluru to a 1 -qualifier and ended the hopes of LSG.
“I just want to turn off for a few days, not to think of cricket, and then the England series is coming-up is preparing for it in a good frame of mind,” said Pant at the ceremony of the presentation.
When the hinge thought about the LSG season, he pointed out the failures of injuries as a key factor in the team’s fighting.
“You have to play 40 good cricket overs. Twenty crossing will not save you in the T20 and that was our story. Before the tournament there was a lot of injuries-it is something that hurt us throughout the season,” he said.

Despite the otherwise disappointment of the season, Pant’s Final Knock was a reminder of his class. He hit 11 four and eight six on the blister display, and after the start -up campaign, he called his return to the mold.
“I felt better with every match, but sometimes it just doesn’t work. Today I wanted it to count. As experienced players when you get it to make it big,” he said.
“I tried to read the field, anticipate how they would mix, and keep things simple. He played every ball with the same intensity in the entire shift.”
