
The second year MBBS student Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) in Adilabad, Telangana died on Wednesday suicide.
The student was identified as 19 -year -old Sahil Choudhary of Jaipur in Rajasthan. His classmates, concerned after he failed to respond for a long time, opened the door of the hostel room and found that he was hanging. . He was hurried to the Rims Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
According to Karunakar Rao, a circular inspector of the city police station Adilabad II, was alone at the time of the incident. “The exact reason to perform an extreme step is yet to be set. We are doing a detailed investigation and informed our parents who are currently on their way to Adilabad from Rajasthan,” he said.
The College Administration represented an internal investigative committee. “We are talking to students and members of the faculty to understand the circumstances that could lead to this incident,” said Rathod Jaisingh, director of Rims Adilabad.
