
New Delhi: The Delhi (DDA) Office plans to start driving in hot air in the next two months.
Places where hot air starts are the Yamuna sports complex, the Commonwealth Games sports complex, ASita and Baner Park.
Four hours of flying time will be allowed every day to support ecotourism and show natural beauty and air perspective Delhi for national capital.
The private agency will work on the income sharing model and the ticket revenue will go directly to the DDA account to ensure transparency and correct records.
The agency will be provided in each location 3600 m2 (60×60 m) space for operation of hot air balloons and start operations in 2 months. The project was assigned for 3 years, which can be extended until a maximum period of 9 years.
The key places are covered with ASITA (Green Zone), Baansera Bamboo Park in Yamuna Riverfront Development, Yamuna Sports Complex (Surajmal Vihar) and Sports Commonwealth Games Sports Complex (built for CWG 2010).
The DDA is working extensively to rejuvenate the Yamuna and the State. The aim is to develop the Yamuna queue to the travel and cultural center.
The Yamuna River also develops a ferry service on the four to six km between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur. The aim of this project is also the development of tourism in the state. A memorandum was signed between the Indian inland waterway authority and the Delhi government department.
