
Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) – Andhra Pradesh received the highest number of certifications of 10,773 NPTEL (National Program for Technology Improved Learning) by the State Government University in India – April 2025.
In his statement, the registrar RGUKT S. Amarendra Kumar told him to deal with the lack of faculty on the RGUKT effective manner and in accordance with the study aspects of active learning for young aspirations /NPTEL courses performed highly advanced and demanding technical courses 2024-25.
The recognition of the fact that the past practice of solving the problem of the faculty deficiency by allocating other classes by paying another reward at the faculty or lecturing guest lectures across the campuses, did not produce an encouraging result. The university managed to attend two optional courses in the third year and one optional course in the engineering last year through NPTEL, with the active support of Chancellor K. Madhu Murty, Vice -President M. Vijay Kumar and others, he said.
Kumar said that a total of 11,755 students were registered on 40 courses across four RGUKT campuses and received certificates of 10,773 students as a result of coordinated efforts.
