The ongoing modernization work performed within the AMRIT Bharat (ABSS) station at the Manapparai Station in the Tiruchi district achieved the final phase of completion.
A number of works began to be started to make the facelift by creating new devices focused on the benefit of the travel public. The project is carried out by the Gati Shakti unit Madurai Railway.
Provision of elevators, covered parking, composed walls, waiting hall, entrance arch, facade, canopy and integrated information system for passengers are among the killing of work collected at the station at the total price of the CRRORE 5.08 GBP. Manapparai was categorized as NSG 5 (NE-Subsurban) and comes in the Tiruchi-Dindigul Broad section.
Railway sources said the provision of lifts on platform 1 and 2 and the integrated information system of passengers at the station was completed. Work to create separate indoor car parks of cars and wheels and the construction of the composed walls ended.
The parking lot in the car can hold 13 cars, while the parking lot can hold about 250 two wheels. Authorities plan to complete work on the road, waiting hall, entrance arch and work on the way to drain to this month. The whole project at Manapparai is expected to end up in May, the sources said.
Pudukottai
The Gati Shakti unit also performs modernization work at the Pudukottai station at the price of 9.08 GBP. Pudukottai is Catgeorized as NSG 5 (non-Suburban) and falls into a wide breakup of Tiruchi-HraMeswaam.
A number of works dealing with ABS at the Puduktai station include the platform floor, lifting, the construction of fenced walls, separate parking spaces for cars and motorcycles, an entry arch, platform shelter, building new stations, circulation and integrated passenger information system.
Sources stated that the provision of elevators on platform 1 and other cover platforms 2 and 3, passenger seating, platform surface treatment, fence and parking spaces were completed. The second work, including the construction of stations and facade building, shelters on the platform, circulation area and entry arch. The reconstructed Pudukottai station is expected to be prepared by July.
