
The district collector Anu Kumar convened the inspection meeting on Friday to speed up the relief of the human and tist conflict and ensure the accurate assessment of the situation. The meeting discussed the second phase of the intensive program of the Ministry of Forestry aimed at resolving such conflicts.
According to official release, the primary objective of the meeting was to identify specific types of wild animals and regions most susceptible to the conflict of man-enhanced life. It has been decided that local authorities will conduct detailed surveys to collect data for this purpose.
One of the key resolutions from the meeting was to prepare the main plan for moving 35 Gaurs from the high -risk areas of the Bharathanoor section in the Palode series. The forest department will take steps to ensure the safe return of these animals to the forest.
The specialized team, which has completed proper training, will be placed in areas affected by the conflict of human acidlif. In addition, the periodic meetings of Janajagratha Samithis will be held to ensure effective communication and the involvement of the community in the prevention of conflicts.
