The apparition made by the head of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI (M)), G. Sudhan on the manipulation of postal votes shows the left side degeneration, said the leader of the opposition VD Satheesan.
In his statement issued on Thursday, Mr. Satheesan said that Mr. Sudhan deserved recognition for showing the courage to reveal the undemocratic and unlawful acts of CPI (M). The decision of the election commission to explore the publication was also commendable, he said.
The opposition leader said that Mr. Sudharan’s statement revealed that CPI (M) not only attacked and murdered political opponents, but also subvert democracy. “In the previous elections, including Kannura, CPI (m) wagered the stalls and engaged in a false vote. These actions were repeatedly emphasized by the congress and the connected democratic front. Sudhan has now openly admitted them,” Satheesen said.
He said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan rose over the Secretary General of CPI (M). “CPI (m) uses power only for corruption. Its unlawful conduct has to be fully exposed. Good Communists such as Sudhan will oppose such acts,” Satheesan added.
