Revanth, other leaders pay tribute to PV Narasimha Rao
TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar and others pay floral tributes to former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao on his 105th birth anniversary at PV Ghat in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Political leaders across party lines paid lavish tributes to former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao, the son of the soil, on his 105th birth anniversary on Sunday, recalling his great contribution to state building and economic reforms.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid floral tributes to the portrait of Mr. Narasimha Rao at his Jubilee Hills residence. He was accompanied by ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Adluri Laxman Kumar. In a message shared on social media, the chief minister said the services rendered by the former prime minister in shaping modern India were unforgettable.

TPCC President and MLC B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Adluri Laxman Kumar, MP Anil Yadav, Government Advisor Harkara Venugopal, AICC Secretary Rudra Raju and several other Congress leaders paid tributes at PV Ghat on Necklace Road. Congress leaders also organized memorial programs and paid tributes at Gandhi Bhavan. The Chief Minister later laid the foundation stone for the first phase of the drinking water system at the NG College Grounds before a public meeting.
BJP leaders Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy and BJP Telangana President N. Ramchander Rao also paid tributes at PV Ghat. Commemorating Mr. Rao as Prime Minister, Mr. Kishan Reddy said that his initiative and vision in economic and political reforms laid the foundation for India’s development.
He added that the former prime minister’s contribution to the creation of modern India remains lasting and significant. Mr. Ramchander Rao said that Mr. Narasimha Rao was the first Prime Minister outside the Nehru-Gandhi family to complete a full five-year term. He also recalled the cordial relationship between Mr. Narasimha Rao and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Former Governor and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya, party leader and Mr Narasimha Rao’s grandson NV Subash and others were present.
