
Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy hopes that his phone was not tapped and said he would receive a notice from an investigation team that would probed the incident if he was tapped.
He confirmed that it was not aversion to show off before a special investigative team, which during the previous BRS mode probeing alleged knocking phones of high -ranking leaders. “I haven’t received any notifications from the SIT. I have no objections if I get a warning,” he said in an informal chat with reporters in Nový Delhi on Wednesday.
The main minister said that the Congress Government had not registered any case concerning the phone knocking. At the Punjagutta Police Station, a case on missing equipment was registered and the IPS retirement officer RS Pureen Kumar was the first to complain that his phone was tapped. He claimed that the government would not dictate the conditions for a team of special investigation in its investigation. A thorough investigation of the whole episode would bring the facts behind the case.
He explained BRS working President KT Rama Rao asserting that governments by clicking phones were common and said, “Let Mr. Rama Rao say the same before sit”.
The main minister said that although clicking on the phone was not illegal, certain procedures should be followed before the order. “Snooping on the phones of members of their own families reflects sorry for a dedication,” he said.
