“Why are you in Ireland?”
The confrontation took place around 21:00 before Verma’s Gym. A woman who worn a badge of Dublin City University (DCU) approached her and began to ask disturbing questions.
“She stopped me and started asking -” Why did you come to Ireland? What are you doing here? Why don’t you return to India? “Verma said.
Part of the meeting was captured on the camera. In the video, the Irish woman can hear, as she says, “Do you have any idea what you are doing? You come to Ireland and pay to landlords who live money here.”
To do this, Verma calmly answers, “What should I do instead – just live on the road, in the tent?”

Verma answers, “Yes, I’m not here for free. I pay my taxes and contribute to the economy.” The woman moves: “The biggest mistake you’ve ever made … Return to India.”
“I was scared and scared”
In her headline Instagram Verma said she initially stiffened and recorded voice remarks for her partner, while the woman continued to scream. “I was terrified, frightened, and just tried to process what was going on,” she wrote.
She added that since then she filed a police complaint and said, “I recorded, reported and share, because it should not happen to anyone.”
