Retirement employees in the National Pension System (NPS) now have the opportunity to join the unified pension system (UPS) before the end of this month.
According to the Regulatory and Development Authority for the Pension Fund notification in the Bulletin of 25 March and the Railway Council (RBE No. 25/2025 and RBA No. 10/2025), the UPS was operated with efficiency from 1 April 2025.
Those who were under the NPS and left for March 31, 2025 or retired or earlier, with the necessary qualifying service they can choose to submit Form-B2 online through the CRA portal or their division office.
In the case of eligible deceased pensioners within the NPS, their spouse/wife/legal heir can submit the division of the relevant forms (B3, B4, B5 or B6), the press release said.
The last date for submission is 30 June. After application, the possibility of final and irrevocable is given. Use the Social Care Section or the settlement of the relevant division.
