
The joint chairman of the chairman Andhra Pradesh Association Association Association Association Association Association Chowdary Purushottam Naida appealed to the government led by Naida to renew the pension benefits that the previous government has reduced.
Mr. Purushottam Naida, who addressed the media, stressed that during the earlier possession of Mr. Naida (2014–2019), the pension quantum was increased to 10% for employees aged 70 to 75 years and 15% for persons over 75 years.
“However, the previous YSRCP government reduced another quantum of pension to 7% of 10% for retirement employees aged 70 to 75 years. They also reduced retirement pension over 75 to 12% of 15% despite strong objections from the Apngos Association.
Mr. Purushottam Naida and other members of the association submitted a memorandum to a special secretary Muddad Ravicandra in the office of the main Minister Amaravati and asked him to bring their complaint to the announcement of the main minister because he had previously approved a trip.
He said: “The leaders face increased medical expenditures due to complications related to age and deserve higher pensions. The hike would immediately benefit 70,000 pensioners and help around 3.3 lakh other employees when they reach 70 years.
“We hope that the Chandrababa Naida government will respond positively,” said Mr. Purushottam Naida.
