A retired Indian Air Force personnel has been arrested in Assam’s Sonitpur district for alleged links with Pakistani intelligence agents, police said on Saturday (Dec 13, 2025).
Additional Superintendent of Police Haricharan Bhumij said preliminary investigations revealed that the accused had shared sensitive documents and information with Pakistani agents through social media.
The police confiscated his laptop and mobile phone.
The devices have been sent for forensic examination, although some data has been wiped, Mr Bhumij said.
The officer said that a case has been registered in the relevant sections of the BNS.
