It was a cake-a-sweetness party with a difference in one of the homes in Bagalkot. A student of the English Secondary School of Basaveshware in Bagalkot, Abhishek, received 200 stamps out of 625 and could not clean any subject, but his parents decided to cheer him up rather than curse him for his poor academic performance. They ordered a cake and sweets to make him feel better and took him better next time.
So they cut the cake and distributed sweets. The student’s father said his son studied hard and took the exam seriously, but could not pass. The party really cheered him, the family said.
“I will delete another exam,” Abhishek said. He said he had trouble remembering things because of a fire accident in his childhood.
