While the downpour also led to the cuts of the power supply, there were reports of rainwater mixed with waste waters entering houses in low -laid areas of Hubball and Dharwad. The downpour also revealed the unpreparedness of the municipal administration in two cities, because the suffocated drains caused floods on arterial roads.
Reports of damage to several village roads due to downpour and authorities collect data on damage to crops and real estate caused by rain.
