The Thiruvananthapuram Residents and Traders Association has written to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) seeking its intervention in resolving the hardships faced by local residents and traders due to the long delay in the construction of the Eenchakkal flyover.
The complete closure of the important junction for the construction of the flyover, which began more than two-and-a-half years ago, has caused hardship to local traders and residents of Vallakkadav, the vicinity of the airport and adjoining areas, the association said.
