Residential house fire in Navi Mumbai; four injuries

Four people were injured after a fire broke out in a residential building in Maharashtra’s Navi Mumbai district, officials said on Sunday (June 07, 2026).

The fire broke out on Saturday evening (June 6, 2026) at Kuber Apartment, located in Sector 21 of Ghansoli area, said Regional Disaster Management Cell Chief Sachin Kadam of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

The Disaster Management Cell received information about the fire on Saturday (June 6, 2026) at 8:51 p.m.

Several fire tenders from Airoli, Koparkhairane, Vashi and other areas were rushed to the spot and the fire was later doused.

Ten people were rescued from the area. The minor and three others suffered burns and breathing problems, the official said.

Three of the injured persons were admitted to Basil Hospital in Koparkhairane for treatment, he said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, the official added.
