The leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Finance Minister T. Harish Rao claimed that the representative of the main Minister M. Bhatti Vikramark, who deals with the portfolios of funding and energy, is wrong not only of the assembly but also the inhabitants of the state in the matter of 2024-25.
In his statement, Mr. Rao said on Tuesday that against the actual growth of 5.1% in 2024-25 (compared to the previous year), according to official data, the representative of the main minister in the Assembly said that the state published 12.3% growth in the collection of GST. In March this year, the GST growth rate in Telangana was 0% against the national average of 10%.
The official data undoubtedly proved that the representative of the main minister lied on the floor of the assembly. Poor GST income performance attributed unfulfilled promises, such as 12,000 GBP Crore, waiting for Rythu Bharosa (8,000 Cr. For Kharif and 4,000 Cr. For RABI) and non -payment of investment support reduced rural expenditures.
Furthermore, misleading policy of bulldozers, such as Hydraa and Musi Riverfront Development, killed productive investments; Pharma City and the unpredictable metro are planning a harmful business sentiment.
If people do not have money in their hands, how would consumption increase and how would GST grow? The Minister of Finance not only mentioned the Assembly, but also missed every hard working citizen of Telangana, Harish Rao said. He had never seen TELANGANA such low GST growth, except for COVID-19 locked, noted.
