Andr Pradesh is preparing a comprehensive policy of film development, which focuses on the development of skills involved in 24 crafts, from production to distribution and adopting advanced technologies.
“At this time, the government decided to participate only with representatives of the film associations only at an individual level,” said Deputy Minister K. Pawan Kalyan in a press release on Saturday.

The Film Association did not meet the main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida even after the year the NDA came to power, which reflected their lack of respect and gratitude for what the government is doing for them.
The government planned to grant industry status to films and took further steps needed for the good of all those depending on the film industry, but film bodies such as the Film Chamber, the Council of producers and the Association of Film Artists forgot how the previous government treated higher actors and techniques with contempt.
On the other hand, the NDA government fully supported the release of Nagarjuna Akkineni. Before the elections, the government promised to expand all the possible support of the film industry, he said.
The Minister’s representative asked why producers continued to submit individual petitions to raise ticket prices during their release instead of meeting for structured negotiations. He stressed that people like Raja, All Aravind, D. Suesh Babu, Y. Supriya, Chinnababu, C. Ashwini Dutt and Naveen Yerneni should make a collective effort to improve the growth of the film industry.
The statement mentioned that Mr Kalyan initiated discussions with the departments of the film industry development, where officials noted that many theaters were operated by tenants instead of the original owners.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan also ordered the Ministry to investigate whether the taxes were properly collected from these tenants and whether the increased ticket prices led to higher tax revenues.
It was also stated that there would be a review of discrepancies between the reported sale of tickets and actual tax collections. Food inspectors and officials of the Department of Legal Metrology carried out regular inspections as a result of complaints about playing food and drinks in theaters and the absence of a device for safe drinking water.
In addition, the statement said that the cinematography department was instructed to report the number of multiplexe theaters and the practice of the division of theaters with one screen to two or three screens and function as multiplexes.
The government was investigating whether there was a difference in tickets between these and regular theaters with one screen. In this respect, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Nellore, Guntur, Kakinada, Tirupati and Rajamahandram would be carefully monitored, Mr. Pawan Kalyan added.
