Representatives of the Chief Minister and Minister Panchayat Raj and rural development (PR & RD) K. Pawan Kalyan ordered officials to set up “rural water rooms” and collectors and collectors, and solve the situation in the water and collectors, and resolved the situation in the drinking water area.
Addressing and Meeting of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNGS) Workers Organized by the PR & RD Department on the Occasion of May Day, Near Mangalagiri, in Guntur District on Thursday, Mr. Pawan Kalyan Emphasized the Need to Link Agriculture with the Scheme, While Pointing Out That It Required and Recommentation by the 16th Finance Commission, and That the State Government Would Talk to the Center About The Proposal.
He said that the funds provided by the PR & RD department within the MGNGS were as an oxygen and was dealt with by a number of development work and the highest priority was given the provision of safe drinking water within the JAL Jeevan mission.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan said that the state government submitted proposals worth 87,000 crore to the center for various JJM projects and approval was accepted for approximately 29,000 crore, which had to be used by 2028.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan also said that the government was working on ways to involve youth in MGNGS work to earn, and in this process it is useful in creating assets for the state. He said that MGNGS staff were necessary for the development of the nation. Therefore, the state government has given its proper priority to its well -being and could increase the daily wage by conscientiously conducting social audits.
The occupation of each person in society, whether it be a doctor, a scientist or a worker who performs physical work for life, should be respected according to the basic principle of “dignity of work”
In the previous year, the amount of 10,600 GBP Crore was spent in the state, including 6 190 Crore for wages. A number of developmental works were carried out within the “Panduga panel”, he added.
Among the present were the main secretary (PR & RD) Shashibhushan Kumar, Commissioner Mvrk Teja and Director (MGNGS) Shanmukh Kumar.
