Rajarajan Mani Mandapam, a structure built in honor of the King of Rajaraja Chola, was inaugurated after an extensive facelift in Thanjavur on Wednesday.
The renovation of the memorial and the neighboring museum in the premises, originally built in 1995, was carried out by the public work at the price of 3.66 crore.
According to official release, the district collector Thanjavur B. Priyanka Pankajam, Mayor S. Ramanathan and deputy mayor Anjugam Bhopathy were present.
The renovation and maintenance project was announced by the main Minister of MK Stalin 2.
