
A year after the destructive landslide in Wayanad, the Union government was looking for another time from the Krala High Court on Friday to inform the court about its acquittal decision to people affected by landslides.
The landslides hit the Chooralmal and Mundakkai in Wayanad on July 30, 2024. While attached the SUO Moto petition to rehabilitate the victims at 13 August, the justice bench Jayasankaran Zambiar and the judiciary Jobin Sebastian orally questioned oral questioning of the delay.
Assistant to CEO Arl Sundaresan reported the court that the ensembles related to the cropping of the loan were currently considered to the Ministry of Finance and sought one more week to get instructions.
At the beginning of June, the court got two more weeks to the center to decide to acquaint the loan. This was after the Union Government Government said that the discussion was taking place between the ministries concerned and the decision was expected in this time framework.
