
There were arms arms for rent, who captured shops at the stadium complex of the autonomous Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam.
According to the response provided by the university authorities, on the basis of the Information Act, a total of 3.3 Crore remains 3.3 GBP. The highest defaulter has approximately 1 crore, while there are traders who raised fees between 37 Lakh and 45 GBP Lakh. The surcharges were created almost 14 traders.
Maharaja’s College Unit of Kerala Students Union has begun agitating demanding steps to get rental arrests. Communication issued by units on Wednesday accused the university authorities for disproportionate delays in obtaining rents arrears, which could be used for the development of campus.
The university authorities attributed cases of filed traders against increasing rental and notification of them, which were provided to them for non -payment of fees as key reasons for assembly arrears. The traders also attacked the rent charged during the pandemic and report that the shops remained closed with regard to the crisis, they claimed.
In October 2024, the assumed officer at the University issued a notice of notifications according to Section 4 of Public Premises (eviction of unauthorized passengers) from 1971. The notification was sent in front of the pavilion shops. Despite these measures, the fees were not cleaned, they said.
