Instructions have been issued to remove Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste from Hyderabad’s Indira Park and make the children’s playground operational as soon as possible. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner RV Karnan issued the directive when on Monday (9 99 day action plan ‘Praja Palana – Pragathiki Pranalika’.
The commissioner emphasized the need to improve park maintenance. Zonal Commissioner Mangathayaru, Deputy Commissioner Kavadiguda Pushpalatha and officials from Urban Biodiversity (UBD) and Solid Waste Management (SWM) Departments were present for the inspection.
