Remedial education in schools, to improve children’s learning ability, must not be considered as an additional facility, but as an essential and sustainable part in the school system. This not only strengthens learning, but also ensures its own capital and integration.
This was the consensus of academics, practitioners, voluntary organizations in the field of education of children and school officials at the counseling seminar on remedial teaching in schools led by the Teleangan education commissions (TEC).
The chairman of the Akunuri Murali noted that the consultation was important, due to the poor level of understanding and basic learning. “Many students who lack basic competencies not only lose their precious time, but also trust and dignity. Structural problems, including multi -stage classrooms and limited focus on Early Anganwadis, complicated the crisis,” he said.
According to r.vekat Reddy from the MV Foundation, which works considerably with extracurricular children, those who are able to learn due to the right environment. Start from what pupils already know, recognize the variety in the classroom and create a democratic educational space.
For Ram Babu of Pratham, an organization based in Mumbai, which derived from the trends of the annual report on the status of education (ASER), the acceptance of “TARL) in the state would help better basic skills.
The Indira Mahindra School of Education Shikha Takker and Mythili Sasters also emphasized the need for a strong conceptual basis in mathematics and the importance of school management in remedial teaching.
Panísstra also raised the question: “Should corrective education be bound or integrated as a system of continuous support during the academic year?”
An organization that shares similar experiences, Khammam, quoted examples of short -term intensive interventions, said that stories and reading books could be effective tools, while others have designed separate lecturers throughout the year and integrate corrective education in the hostel and schools through volunteers.
