DAIS ranks 9th in IBDP’s top 10 schools: What we know
A post on social media said: “We are proud to share that based on the IB Diploma Program 2026 results and global rankings published by Education Advisers UK, DAIS has been ranked 9th among IBDP schools worldwide – the only school from India to appear in the global Top 10. With an average score of 40.8 points, DAIS class 26 achieved an all-time best result out of the top 20 schools.”
In addition, DAIS has the largest IBDP cohort among the top 10 schools in the world with a total of 105 students, underscoring its ability to deliver results across a relatively large cohort rather than a small pool of candidates.
The school attributed this feat to its focus on academic rigor, intellectual curiosity, innovation and holistic education along with the efforts of students, educators and parents. A post on X added: “This recognition reflects our shared commitment to academic rigor, intellectual curiosity, innovation and holistic education. It celebrates the aspirations and hard work of our students, the expertise and dedication of our educators, and the trust and partnership of our parents.”

The RP curriculum consists of six subject groups and the RP core, which includes Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and the Extended Essay.
Through the core of the degree program, students reflect on the nature of knowledge, complete independent research, and undertake a project that often includes community service.
