Vice -Chairman of the SPMVV V. UMA, registrar of N. Rajani and KMMWB Galkaduwa, Executive Director of Hefcy, Sri Lankan Central Province, participates in the one -day seminar of the Faculty for Preschool Teachers Sri Lanka.
The speakers at the one -day seminar of the Faculty entitled “The Development of Children for Pre -School Teachers Sri Lanka” who were held here on Tuesday expressed concern about the physical and mental health of children with regard to the growing time of the screen with the advent of technology. They wanted the number of technologies consumed by children to be regulated and thoroughly monitored.
The seminar was organized by Sri Padmavati Mahil Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV) Center for International Relations in cooperation with Rashtriya Seva Samithi (Rass), in the Varsity area. This event was attended by 40 preschool teachers from Sri Lanka.
Vice -Chairman of the SPMVV V. UMA emphasized the importance of basic education in shaping the future of children, especially those in the age group of one to six. “Initial education in children is not only about teaching, but also about transforming lives during the most sensitive and formative years,” she said.
KMMWB Galkadowa, Executive Director of Helping Education for Children, Youth and Older Organization (Hefcy), Sri Lankan Central Province, appreciated Indian cultural and language diversity and thanked SPMVV for the offer of this cross -border opportunity for learning. “This experience will seize our teachers with valuable knowledge and modern pedagogical practices needed to master children with gentle age,” he added.
SPMVV N. Rajani, Head of the Education Department of T. Amudhavalli and RASS Project Officer Ramesh Reddy addressed teachers. SPMVV Center for International Relations Dean P. Vijayalakshmi, collaborator of Sean R. Usha and Sobha Rani and Him Bindu coordinated the event.
