
The Tasmac Union in Nagapattinam-Mayiladuthurai, associated with feeling, adopted a resolution on Sunday to call the government to regulate all employees with more than 22 years of service and provide time reward.
At the District Conference, which took place in the office of City at Kamajar Salai, the head of the trade unions demanded immediate implementation of the Act on the establishment of employees, expanding the medical benefits of ESI for all employees and increasing retirement age from 58 to 60.
P. Ramalingam and A. Sivanarudselvam were elected as a new president and secretary of the district together with the 23-member district committee. The meeting was addressed by Kilvelur MLA VAGAI MALI and closed the speech by the Secretary of State K. Thirchelvam.
