Regional celebrations for the second anniversary of the government on June 17

District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore on Monday directed officials to make arrangements for regional celebrations to be held in Visakhapatnam on June 17 to mark the completion of two years of the state government. During a review meeting at the Collectorate, he said the event should reflect the development achievements of the district and the progress of major projects in the last two years.

Officials were asked to prepare comprehensive reports on initiatives across sectors, with a particular focus on information technology, skills development and education. The collector also called for documentation of successful social welfare programs and success stories of beneficiaries.

On-site exhibition stands will showcase development work, ongoing infrastructure projects and the implementation of government social welfare programmes. Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari, DRO M. Visweswara Naidu and district level officers attended the meeting.
