Pakistan captain Fatima Sana created a new record on Friday after she scored the fastest half-century in a women’s T20 international during Pakistan’s match against Zimbabwe at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.The Pakistan captain reached her fifty in just 15 balls in the final of the innings, breaking the previous record of Sophie Devine, Phoebe Litchfield and Richa Ghosh, who all scored fifties off 18 balls.Fatima Sana also became the fastest Pakistani batsman to reach a fifty in T20 Internationals in both men’s and women’s cricket.She remained unbeaten on 62 off 19 balls, hitting 10 fours and two sixes at a strike rate of 326.31.One of the key moments of her innings came in a 24-run over against Nomvelo Sibanda, where she hit three fours and two sixes.Fastest Fifties in Women’s T20Is:
