Commissioner North Corporation Sunil Kumar ordered officials to reopen and restore service roads for a vehicle in areas where the construction of the metro along Hebbal to Kr Puram Stretch was completed.
During the inspection covering the section from the Hebal overpass to Ramamurtha Nagar Junction along the outer circular road (ORR), the Commissioner said there should be better coordination between the departments to complete all the ongoing work. The main construction work of the metro is carried out on the section between the Hebal and Venkatan Cafe Road overpass. In order to facilitate smooth public movement, BMRCL was directed to start the activities of road renewal after completion.
Raid on a plastic production unit
The air raid was made on a plastic production unit with one use in chamarajapet, which led to a seizure of forbidden plastic objects. It was led by Karee Gowda, CEO of Bengalur Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML). The air raid took place in one of the units under the jurisdiction of the central corporation, based on accurate information about extensive illegal production.
