Real Housewives star Jennifer Pedranti admits son’s connection to 7-acre California wildfire: ‘Unacceptable’ | Today’s news

Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti recently confirmed that one of her sons was allegedly behind a brush fire that engulfed nearly seven acres of land in the hills of Southern California. Speaking about the tragedy, the reality TV personality and yoga instructor addressed the “buzz” about her son’s involvement in a social media post.

On Instagram Stories, the 49-year-old woman shared, “He (her son) and others were involved in starting the fire that started on Tuesday, July 7 at the Ladera Ranch in California. She expressed her concern over the tragedy of the Ladera Ranch fire, adding, “My ex-husband (William Pedranti) and I take this very seriously. This behavior is unacceptable and we deeply apologize to our community. It’s a tough learning moment for our son and our family.” Notably, the fire broke out around 4:45 p.m. local time on Tuesday near Ladera Ranch’s Narrow Canyon Road and Acaster Way.

She apologized to the community and claimed that no one was injured and there was no serious damage to property. “The fire and police were absolutely amazing and taught these boys a lesson they will never forget,” the post added.

She further mentioned that her son will not get away with this inconvenience and will face consequences for his actions. “He will be taking a fire safety course to make sure a similar mistake never happens again,” she continued. At the end of the post, she wrote: “There are consequences in our family and we will make sure our son learns from this accident.”

The post, shared on Thursday, July 9, is no longer available, but has gone viral on social media. Pedranti, who is now engaged to fiancé Ryan Boyajian, shares five children with ex-husband William, including 4 sons and a daughter. All of her children are either teenagers or young adults. The oldest is Harrison who is 22, Dawson is 19, Greyson is 16 and youngest son Dominic is 12. Pedranti’s daughter Everleigh who is 14 is the second youngest.

While she did not specify which son was involved, she said no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. According to a TMZ report, Jennifer and her children used to live in the Ladera Ranch neighborhood, but they moved out about a year ago.

In an interview with People, the Orange County Fire Authority said Thursday that the fire was still under investigation and several minors were being questioned at the scene.
