The Joint Action Committee for Rajiv Rahadari (JAC) owners called for a one -day bandhof the main road of Rajiv Rahadari 7 July, who protested against the decision of the TELANGANY government to expand the way to 200 feet. The announcement was made during Saturday’s JAC meeting.
President Jac Telukunta Satish Gupta, who dealt with the assembly, said the current plan of the government is unfair and would seriously affect the owners of real estate along the section between Gymkhana and Thumkunta. “We are not against development, but strongly oppose the proposed expansion of 200 feet when viable alternatives such as overpass or metro can be adapted to 100 to 120 feet,” he said.
