Reading is far from a dying habit, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. After performing the state inauguration 30. Celebrations of reading organized by PN PNICKER Foundation here on Thursday delivered the address of the main lecture.

National campaign
He spoke of the historical role of the state in the Reading Movement and confirmed its ongoing commitment to raise the culture of reading among its people. Celebrations mean the beginning of the monthly national campaign to support reading. Compliance will continue until 18 July, with activities including all countries, the main minister said.
The schoolchildren who participated in this event presented the pledge of reading prepared foundations. On this occasion, an ambitious project “One Lakh Vaayanasadhas” was introduced on this occasion, aimed at organizing 1,00,000 readers’ forums across the country.
