The artificial intelligence has spoken. And for once it is unanimous. Ahead of Match 23 of IPL 2026 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium tonight, we asked three of the world’s leading AI platforms, ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Grok, to predict the winner.
Here’s what each of them had to say.
Google Gemini
Gemini called the match one of the most fascinating structural contests of the season. It marked RCB’s batting, the best in the tournament, against LSG’s bowling, the most economical in the competition.
The twins called Rajat Patidar the “most dangerous resident” of Chinnaswamy right now. The AI bot pointed out his strike rate of 214.28 and his ability to convert even good deliveries to boundaries at this spot.

Gemini was clear that LSG’s best chance would require a “historic” bowling effort. Just being good would not be enough against this RCB line-up.
Mohammed Shami has been identified as the key. Gemini notes that if they don’t release Virat Kohli or Phil Salt in time, “RCB’s momentum will become a runaway train.”
AI also tagged Mayank Yadav as LSG’s wild card. But it warned that on these short boundaries, failing to fire at 150km/h could be as dangerous for the bowlers as it was for the batsmen. Gemini have pegged RCB’s win probability at 60-70% depending on the toss.
Grok
Grok was the most detailed of the three, giving RCB a 60-65% chance of winning while acknowledging that LSG’s bowling is far from a foregone conclusion.
He highlighted the same basic argument: RCB’s 200-plus in all four innings, Chinnaswamy’s flat surface, Patidar’s extraordinary form and Kohli’s almost 300-six milestone. According to the AI bot, these are the main reasons why RCB has an advantage.

However, Grok also gave LSG led by Rishabh Pant the most credit among the three AI responses. It pointed to their dramatic 1-wicket win at this ground in 2023 as evidence that they can win here. It noted that LSG’s bowling has been elite all season. If Shami or Mayank can unsettle RCB early, the game could become really competitive.
Ultimately, however, Grok concluded that “Chinnaswamy in 2026 plus RCB’s batting explosion will outweigh LSG’s bowling discipline”. He also predicted a total of over 400 runs and called the match “set to entertain”.
ChatGPT
Of the three, ChatGPT was the most clinical. She framed her prediction as “venue driven” rather than purely form. He argues that Chinnaswamy is structurally removing LSG’s greatest strength.
His main point was sharp: LSG’s bowling excellence hinges on control. And this surface makes it systematically harder to maintain control. It has been argued that an 8.5 economy becomes a 10-11 economy in Chinnaswamy simply because of the size and surface of the land.

He was also the most skeptical of Mayank Yadav’s factor, calling it “conditional on selection and execution”. That’s one variable that can’t outweigh a consistently dominant batting unit.
ChatGPT’s verdict says that unless LSG win the power play decisively through Shami or Mayank, they are in the running contest; they are not built to win.
RCB vs LSG Prediction: Who Will Win?
These three AI platforms have three different analytical approaches. But they have one conclusion: RCB will win tonight.
The draw will take place at 19:00 IST. The first ball will be played at 19:30 IST. The match will be broadcast LIVE on Star Sports and JioHotstar. Advice for LSG: don’t read this article.
