After 27 days and 21 matches, marked by repeated momentum shifts, the WPL reached its final stop. One match left. The result will crown one side a champion and leave the other side reflecting on what might have been, with little comfort drawn from the road that got here or the potential that lies ahead.
On one side are Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They soon overtook the pack and set the pace from the start. There were a few setbacks along the way, but each time they responded with performances that underlined their title.
Opposite them are the capitals of Delhi. Their campaign got off to an uneven start but picked up steam as the tournament progressed. They know this stage well, having already reached the final, but this time they come with the hope of changing the ending.
As in the previous three editions, they will have another chance. A chance to make history, see their name at the top, overcome unfinished business and finally achieve the result they were chasing.
