After their Indian Premier League (IPL) opener over Sunrisers Hyderabad, defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are gearing up for the first southern derby of IPL 2026 as they host Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 5. Meanwhile, CSK host Punjab Kings at home on April 3.
However, tickets for the high-octane RCB vs CSK IPL 2026 match are already sold out on April 1, according to RCB’s official website and app, leaving a few in the digital queue. The ticket price range started at ₹3750 for general racks ₹47,000 (premium hospitality).
At the time of writing, only one ticket was available in Stand E. It should also be noted that some fans have also reserved (not purchased) seats, resulting in a long digital queue. “Some seats are reserved by other users. Please select another booth or try again shortly,” read a message on the RCB website when trying to buy tickets at the Shantha Rangaswamy Stadium and the SUN Pharma booth.
Will tickets be available in phase 2?
As the Phase 1 tickets are already sold out, no announcement has been made about the Phase 2 tickets for the RCB vs CSK clash. For more information about the tickets, RCB website, app and social media should be monitored if any secondary release is announced.
Metro access and directions
All RCB vs CSK 5th April ticket holders will get free metro ride on match day. The Metro QR code on the m-ticket will be sufficient at metro stations for access.
For a smooth stadium experience, it is recommended to refer to the entry and inner gate details provided on the ticket. Access for spectators will be via Cubbon Road, Link Road and MG Road. Entry via Queens Road will be restricted, except for selected Pavilion (P) stands.
